LAKEWOOD, CO—July 17, 2009—Metro area residents who want to achieve their GED (General Educational Development) diploma have a new, convenient place to take their exams. The Learning Source recently expanded its GED testing schedule at its Belmar Center, 455 S. Pierce Street in Lakewood.

Come watch representatives from Denver area businesses and organizations who will be competing in the 2nd Annual Tattered Cover Downtown Spelling Bee to benefit The Learning Source (www.coloradoliteracy.org). The free event takes place on Friday, May 15, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Skyline Park, 16th and Arapahoe Streets in Downtown Denver.
